Lucille Pezzullo

Acting Division Chief, Global Trade, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Department of Homeland Security

Lucille “Lucy” Pezzullo is the Acting Division Chief for the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Global Trade – Customs Investigations Division at the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center where she coordinates the federal government’s response to combat global intellectual property theft, enforce intellectual property and trade laws, and protect public health and safety, national security and the U.S. economy. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Pezzullo served as the Unit Chief of the HSI Global Trade Government Supply Chain Investigations Unit established in June of 2023 amid growing concerns over the infiltration of counterfeit and substandard goods into the supply chain of the U.S. Government. Ms. Pezzullo began her federal law enforcement career in 2002 as a Special Agent with the legacy U.S. Customs Service in Newark, New Jersey. In 2010, she transferred to the HSI San Francisco field office where she served as a Supervisory Special Agent and Acting Assistant Special Agent in Charge during her 10 years in the Bay Area. In 2020, Ms. Pezzullo transitioned to HSI Headquarters where she served as a National Program Manager and Section Chief assigned to the HSI Special Operations Unit. Throughout her career, her focus has been on investigative disciplines within the realms of Public Safety and Border Security. Ms. Pezzullo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Towson University, Maryland.
