Jennifer Martin received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2004 and subsequently completed a Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2005. She became a Board-Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist in 2006. Since that time, Jennifer has functioned in a variety of different roles during her employment with the VA including Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Mental Health, PGY-2 Residency Director, and Associate Chief of Pharmacy at the Captain James A Lovell Federal Health Care Center. Jennifer is currently the Deputy Chief Consultant, VA Pharmacy Benefits Management Service. In this role, Jennifer oversees activities related to formulary management, data management, and pharmaceutical contracting. In addition, since January 2024, Jennifer has been detailed into the role of Senior Advisor – Assistant Under Secretary for Health for Patient Care Services in which she serves as part of the leadership team for Patient Care Services at the national level.
