Kel Pults, DHA, MSN, NI-BC, RN, NREMT, is the Chief Clinical Officer and Vice President of Government Strategy at MediQuant. With 27 years of nursing and patient care experience, Dr. Pults leverages her deep healthcare and health informatics expertise to build effective health information solutions that address the clinical data management needs of hospitals and health systems.
During her tenure with MediQuant, Dr. Pults has been involved in virtually every aspect of the organization’s operations, including partnering with developers of its flagship product, DataArk®, to enhance current features and create new clinical functionality that meet evolving client needs. She currently serves as MediQuant's HIPAA Privacy Officer, Chair of the Health Regulatory Committee, and a member of the MediQuant Security Governance Committee.
Beyond her work at MediQuant, Dr. Pults contributes to the broader healthcare and leadership communities. She serves on the Advisory Committee for Women in Leadership Studies at Ashland University, is Co-Chairperson of the Active Archive Alliance, and mentors students through the DC HIMSS Chapter. She is also a member of the American Nursing Association and the Minneapolis Women’s Leadership Organization. Additionally, Dr. Pults is a nationally certified EMT and firefighter.
Dr. Pults earned her Doctor of Health Administration, as well as a Master of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing, from the University of Phoenix. She also holds an ANCC certification in Nursing Informatics.
