In October 2022, Mr. Sloniker was appointed the Principal Executive Director for the VA Office of Enterprise Supply Chain Modernization. ESCM will integrate an Enterprise Supply Chain portfolio in support of VA business processes across multiple communities. ESCM modernization efforts will align nonmedical and medical supply chains, as well as healthcare technology management, distribution management, and facilities management processes with VA strategic initiatives for financial and electronic health record system modernization. In March 2021, he was appointed the Executive Director for VA Logistics Redesign Program Office (VALOR). Mr. Sloniker served over 28 years in the U.S. Army as a Colonel with expertise in Healthcare Executive Command when he retired in 2021. He is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom with several awards to his credit including the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and Combat Action Badge. He is a member of the Order of Military Medical Merit, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Army Acquisition Corps and is recognized as a Demonstrated Master Logistician by The International Society of Logistics (SOLE). Mr. Sloniker is a native of Spanaway, WA and holds a MS in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, an MBA from Webster University, and an BA in Psychology from the University of Washington.
