Frederick White

Frederick G. White Jr., MSPH is a Relationship Manager with the Department of Veterans Affairs, National Veterans Experience Office in Washington, DC.  Frederick received an undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Xavier University, LA; a master’s of public health degree from Tulane University’s School of Public Health &Tropical Medicine; and is currently completing a Ph.D. in Public Administration with a focus on Leadership Development from Portland State University, OR.  Prior to his current position, Frederick served as a Senior Management Analyst and Executive Assistant to the CEO of Portland VA Medical Center in Portland, OR.  While there he led the facility to achieve VA Carey Performance Excellence Award, the State Baldrige Silver Award, the VA Environmental Excellence Award, and recognition as an EPA designated Performance Track facility.  He currently lives in Portland with his wife, Monique and their 12-year old son Frederick III (Trey).  In his spare time, Frederick enjoys golfing, movies, cooking, and traveling with family and friends.  For the last year, Frederick has enjoyed coaching his son’s basketball and flag football teams.
