COL Scott W. McIntosh is a native of Polk City, Iowa. He was commissioned as an Aviation officer through the Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia in April 1996.

COL McIntosh’s previous assignments include: United States Air Force, F-15 Electrician (enlisted), 49th Tactical Fighter Squadron; AH-64 Pilot (warrant officer), 3-229th Attack Helicopter Regiment; Platoon Leader and Executive Officer, 1-501st Aviation Regiment (Operation Joint Endeavor and Operation Joint Guard); Production Control Officer, 8-101st Aviation Regiment; Commander, D Company, 2-101st Aviation Regiment (Operation Iraqi Freedom); Combat Developer, Combined Arms Support Command; Evaluation Officer, Army Test and Evaluation Command; Chief of Programs, Communication and Information Systems Directorate, Multi-National Force-Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom); Assistant Product Manager, Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO CBD); Personnel Policy Integrator, Directorate of Military Personnel Management, Army G-1; Program Analyst, Program Analysis and Evaluation, Army G-8; Joint Product Manager Biological Detection Systems, JPEO CBD; Chief of Flight Operations, Defense Contract Management Agency, Boeing Philadelphia; Joint Project Manager Medical Modeling & Simulation (JPM MMS), Program Executive Office Simulation Training & Instrumentation. COL McIntosh is a graduate of the Warrant Officer Basic Course, Aviation Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Combined Arms Services and Staff School, and Command and General Staff College. COL McIntosh is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and is rated as a pilot in the CH-47F Chinook and as a maintenance test pilot in the AH-64A Apache and AH-64D Apache Longbow. He holds a Masters Degree in Project Management from American Graduate University and is Level 3 certified in Program Management. COL McIntosh’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal – 2nd award, Meritorious Service Medal – 4th award, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal – 3rd award, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal – 4th award, Senior Army Aviator Badge, and the Army Staff Identification Badge. COL McIntosh is married to the former Donna Jeanne Saum of West Long Branch, New Jersey. Scott and Donna are the proud parents of Ilyssa, Caitlin and Nick.
