An AI revolution is not coming; the revolution is already here. AI is
fundamentally changing the landscape of healthcare delivery. Like
electricity in the past, AI represents the general-purpose technology
(GPT) of our era. With inherent challenges and threats ahead, ‘futureoriented’
strategies should be implemented that leverage AI to create
a better, stronger, and more relevant military medical force to support
the health, readiness, and resilience of the warfighter and their families.
Through the lens of ‘national security strategy’ the application of
artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in military medicine is offered to
achieve improvement in the following three objectives:
• Service member’s health
• Service member’s readiness
• Service’s population health
1:45 pm - 2:15 pm Afternoon Networking Break
