Karl Wiers

Karl Wiers is the Air Force Operational Test and Training Infrastructure Authorizing Official Designated Representative and Security Control Assessor. He is responsible for overseeing the Authorization and Approval processes for all varieties of IT that support Operational Training. This includes Virtual Flight Simulators, Constructive Training Systems, Distributed Training Centers and Networks, Ranges, and Range infrastructure. The latest systems in his portfolio are the Joint Integrated Test and Training Centers and AF Joint Synthetic Environment.
