Creid K. Johnson is the A5X Futures Division Chief, A589 Directorate of Planning and Programming, Headquarters, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He leads all capability development and requirement efforts, innovation, wargaming, science and technology, and future capabilities. Futures work includes autonomy within the combat collaborative aircraft mission area, HSVTOL, REFORGE, and other venues. His division develops and articulates capability development plans, programs, requirements, and S&T efforts affecting current and future combat aircraft, air-to-air weapons and other programs.
