Military flight training is at a critical juncture as air forces around the world look to shepherd in a new generation of pilots while navigating a shifting training terrain that now incorporates synthetic environments and AI. Creid Johnson, Division Director of Futures Division, Air Combat Command, USAF and Major Jared Kleiman, Future Capabilities Planner, US Air Force, are two airmen committed to ensuring the U.S. Air Force is at the forefront of developing modern flight training techniques and procedures.
This October 29-30 both Mr. Johnson and Major Kleiman will be in attendance at the Military Flight Training Summit in San Antonio, Texas. During this two-day event, a community of 300+ Flight Training Program Managers, Instructors, Industry Leaders and Subject Matter Experts gather to discuss challenges and solutions at the forefront of pilot training. Before Johnson and Kleiman land in Texas, they sat down with IDGA to discuss the core pillars of rebuilding future pilot training.
