Tony Viggiani is a distinguished professional with a remarkable 27-year career spanning both military and industry sectors. Tony, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, began his journey when he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1998 as an infantryman. His dedication and leadership quickly propelled him through the ranks, and he was selected for the Gunner Program in 2011.

Tony’s career as a Marine Corps Infantry Weapons Officer (Gunner) is distinguished by a wide range of roles, through which he has consistently delivered executive-level subject matter expertise across the full spectrum of training and education. Tony has extensive experience in leadership development, building cohesive teams, and building relationships within the DOD and DOJ. He possesses an extensive portfolio in performance evaluation, quality assurance, and process improvement, along with effectively demonstrating extensive knowledge in project support, resource management, and training program coordination.

In 2022, Tony transitioned from the Marine Corps and became a member of the Saab Inc. Training and Simulations team, where he took on the role of Business Development Manager with a focus on future technologies integration for the Land Systems Division, where he continues to drive innovation and business growth.

Tony’s career culminated in notable positions within the Marine Corps Training and Education Command, including Advanced Infantry Training Battalion – West Gunner, Infantry Officers Course Gunner at The Basic School, Director of Marksmanship for the Marine Corps and Training and Education Command Gunner being the Executive Infantry Advisor to three-star General Officer for all of training and education for the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.

These include the Navy Cross, Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal with a “V” and one silver star in lieu of sixth award, and the Henry Lewis Hulbert Award for Outstanding Leadership. He is also a recipient of the Presidential Service Badge.
