Rachel Germansky

Lead Acquisition Engineer for Range Training Systems, PM TRASYS Marine Corps Systems Command

Rachael Germansky was born in Denver, CO and graduated valedictorian from Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando, FL in 2001. She received a Ford Motor Company scholarship to Smith College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Chemistry in 2005.

After graduation, she worked at Frito Lay for 6 years. She started her career as a production line manager for Fritos and Cheetos and was quickly promoted to the position of weekend manager for production. In 2008, Rachael was promoted to lead the capital improvements and acquisitions for the Orlando manufacturing plant and warehouses in addition to the warehouse maintenance manager. In 2010, Rachael was reassigned to the Food Safety and Sanitation Manager and led the plant to their best food safety score in 54 years.

In December 2011, Rachael earned her Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Central Florida.

Rachael started her Federal Service career on 12 July 2012, and was assigned to Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Acquistion Acadamy (A2) developmental program in Orlando, FL.

Rachael began her career as a Systems Engineer and was assigned to the Program Manager, Combined Arms Tactical Trainers (PM CATT). During this time she obtained her Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Engineering.

In 2013, Rachael was rotated as part of the A2 program to Program Manager, Training Devices (PM TRADE). She supported the engineering efforts of the Product Manager, Live Training Systems (PdM LTS) as an engineer on multiple programs.

In 2015, Rachael completed her developmental program and was retained by PM TRADE. She supported multiple programs as the lead systems engineer.

In 2019, Rachael was selected to lead the efforts to incorporate live training into the Synthetic Training Environment (STE) and modernize the live training portfolio. She served as the both the Assistant Program Manager and Lead Engineer.

In 2020, Rachael was competitively selected and promoted to the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando, FL serving as an Interoperability Engineer for the F-35 program.

In 2020, Rachael was competitively selected and promoted to the Marine Corps System Command (MCSC), Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), Orlando, FL as the Assistant Product Manager – Engineer (APdM-E) for Range Training Systems (RTS).

In February of 2025, Rachael was MCSC Board selected to serve as the PM TRASYS PdM for RTS. She is currently chartered to manage the RTS portfolio consisting of Force on Force and Ranges programs.

Rachael and her husband, Jim enjoy playing video games together.
