Michelle Zebrowski

Chief Data Officer US Customs and Border Protection

In this role, Ms. Zebrowski will serve as a principal advisor to the CBP Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with the mission to drive CBP’s Enterprise Data Management program. She will be responsible for performing work across OIT and CBP to address the agency’s most complex and consequential information and data challenges. This includes helping to define and shape CBP’s data culture and making CBP’s enterprise data discoverable, accessible, and decision-enabling. She will be responsible for analyzing and deriving insights from data to inform mission strategy and value.

Ms. Zebrowski has over 15 years of experience working in CBP and 25 years of experience working in Information Technology. Michelle started her CBP career developing, testing, and gathering requirements for the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) program, leading operations and maintenance efforts for several years before taking the role of Director of Development. Michelle led the ACE agile development teams to implement and support many highly complex systems as well as modernize legacy applications. She most recently served as the Branch Chief of the Data Integration and Management Branch within the Office of Trade’s Trade Transformation Office, Advanced Trade Analytics Platform. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University.

Outside of CBP, Ms. Zebrowski serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services in Virginia, as well as Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center in Blackwood, New Jersey.
