John Bernard

John Bernard is the Market Leader for IDEMIA Public Security North America’s Border Control and Passenger Facilitation business, driving the vision for a seamless, secure, identity-driven traveler experience in all modes of travel. John has a history of building customer-centric innovation teams, focusing on identifying and incorporating emerging technologies into complex infrastructure and operations. Prior to joining IDEMIA, John served as the strategy and advanced concepts leader for L3Harris Technologies aviation information management business, serving customers in both the U.S. and international markets. Previously John has worked with other technology-forward organizations including MITRE Corporation and Northrop Grumman. John has routinely served in advisory roles in industry panels and workgroups, including the U.S. Travel Association, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), RTCA, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and Airlines 4 America. John has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo.
