Dr. Kenneth Fritzsche (Invited)

Director, Identity Technology Division, Office of Biometric Identity Management Department of Homeland Security

Ken Fritzsche is a seasoned IT professional specializing in building robust enterprise systems. With over 25 years of experience in IT, Ken blends his unique combination of academic knowledge with real-world expertise to design, implement, and deliver complex IT infrastructures for the US government. As a military officer, Ken served in a variety of positions to include building the award winning Department of the Army Portal and Email services, and serving as a computer science professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point where he taught courses in application design, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital forensics. Having served in the Department of Homeland Security for over a decade, he brings his expertise in system architecture, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity, to maintain and improve the IDENT biometric system in the DHS Office of Biometric Identity Management.
