Chief Technology Officer for DEVCOM-AC’s Artillery Fire Control Systems Division US Army

David Musgrave bio for Future Indirect Fires Summit 2025 David Musgrave started is his career with the US Army in 2003 with the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) in Fort Monmouth, NJ. In 2004 he transferred to Picatinny Arsenal, NJ and to work as a software developer for the M109A6 Paladin fire control system. Over the last 20 years, he has remained in the Artillery Fire Control Division working in various roles supporting the M109A6 and M109A7 programs as well as development work on automated diagnostic systems, projectile tracking radars and most recently the Extended Range Cannon Artillery program. David holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Quantitative Software Engineering, both from the Stevens Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of the Army Management Staff College’s Civilian Education System Advanced Course. In his off time, he enjoys cycling, kayaking and learning overly complicated table top games with his children Tim (17) and Nate (13).
