Mr. Matthew Harris is the Technical Lead for QinetiQ US’s Defense Modernization Business Unit. He serves as a strategic advisor to national security clients by blending mission operations, consulting and transformation expertise, and data and technology solutioning.

Mr. Harris has provided support to various Defense Innovation Unit and Air Force Research Laboratory efforts and is a published author and thought leader on the integration of systems into current and future architectures including the space domain and multi-domain for terrestrial scenarios as well as escalation and strategic weapon deterrence.

He has spent two decades working for government agencies in areas of strategic planning, programmatic support, and subject matter expertise including the National Defense University, United States Space Force, Missile Defense Agency, and Department of Homeland Security.

He is an adjunct professor at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University’s Space Operations Program providing expert instruction on incorporating government and business perspectives into entrepreneurial thinking about space initiatives.

He earned a Master of Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Government from Ohio Wesleyan University.
