Queron Thompson

Manager, UAS Program Design and Analytics Division, UAS & Emerging Entrants Secu FAA

A member of the FAA’s Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH) Line of Business, Queron Thompson is the division manager for the UAS Program Design and Analytics Division under Emerging Entrants Security branch of ASH. His duties include managing the development of integration tools and capabilities for UAS and C-UAS program initiatives, such as law enforcement correlation tools for Remote ID, security assessment capabilities for unmanned aircraft flight restrictions for fixed sites, and the implementation of the FAA’s UAS Detection and Mitigation Program (Section 383).

A former Naval Flight Officer, he has 21 years of active-duty service, which includes certifications in three combat aircraft. His post-military experience includes positions as a Northrop Grumman Tactical Coordinator for the MQ-4C Triton UAS program and an Electronic Warfare Senior Engineer for the Navy's EA-18G Growler program.

“Q” holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technologies from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a master’s degree in business administration and project management from Grantham University.
