Air Defense Officer, Homeland Defense Division Space and Missile Defense, Joint Staff J3

Major Casey Robbins is the Air Defense Officer for Nuclear and Homeland Defense Operations, Homeland Defense Division, the Joint Staff, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. As the Air Defense Officer, he is responsible for advising Joint Staff senior leaders on air domain homeland defense issues and the synchronization of worldwide C-UAS efforts across Combatant Commands, Defense Agencies and alongside interagency security partners. Major Robbins is a graduate of Central Washington University and was commissioned through the Academy of Military Science at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Knoxville. Prior to assuming his current duties, Major Robbins served at the Service Component Command and Numbered Air Force levels. He is a career Senior Air Battle Manager who has held a variety of tactical and operational positions in Command and Control and ground-based air defense. He has been qualified as a Senior Air Defense Officer at the operational level and Senior Director and Air Weapons Officer at the tactical level. He has logged countless hours on alert in support of Operation NOBLE EAGLE as well as contingency support for defense support to civil authorities. At the service component command level, he has served in relief and civil support operations following numerous hurricanes, to include Harvey, Michael and Dorian.
