Dr. Cynthia Patterson

Chief of Academics Joint C-sUAS University, US Army

Dr. Patterson is a member of the U.S. Army Civilian for the Fires Center of Excellence, Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft System (C-sUAS) University as Chief of Academics. Dr. Patterson a proud veteran of the US Navy, retiring in 2015 upon completion of 30 years of service. Prior to joining the University, she worked with DOTD as the Course Manager and Senior Instructor for the Common Faculty Development – Instructor Course (CFD-IC). She is instructor certificated as CDD-IC, CFDC-Developer Course, Advance Faculty Development Course, and Myers Brigg Facilitation. Additionally, Dr. Patterson certified as a Army University T3 Instructor Evaluator, Career Program 32 Level 1 & 2 Army Training and Education Systems, Kirkpatrick Evaluation Silver, Program Manager (PMP), and Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR). Dr. Patterson has been awarded the Army Basic and Senior Instructor Badge. She is a native of Lake City, Florida and currently resides in Apache, Oklahoma with her wonderful husband Jim, a retired Navy Veteran and is happy to say her son Cameron currently serves in the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer
