Maj. Gen. Robert W. Claude is the Mobilization Assistant to the Chief of Space Operations, Headquarters United States Space Force, the Pentagon. In this position, he assists the CSO with the responsibility to organize, train and equip spaces forces; develop and acquire space forces; and conduct space operations to advance and protect U.S and allied interests. Maj. Gen. Claude also serves the USSF lead for Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control, and the Advanced Battle Management System. He is the senior Reserve officer on the staff and serves as the CSO's principal advisor on planning, coordination, and employment of Reserve forces.
Maj. Gen. Claude earned his commission through Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnestoa, in 1991. He is a career Space and Cyber officer with over 33 years of service.
Maj. Gen. Claude has commanded one squadron, served as a wing vice commander, and has held numerous staff positions at the unite, major command, service headquarters and combatant command levels. Prior to his current position, Maj. Gen. Claude served as the MA to the Commander, United States Space Command, Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado.
