Major General Jeth B. Rey assumed duties as Director of Network Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) Services and Integration in July 2024. He is responsible for strategy, policy, and guidance to enable mission command across the Army’s Global Enterprise Network
MG Rey previously served as the Director of the Network Cross Functional Team within Army Futures Command, focusing on integrating and modernizing the Army’s network. He was responsible for the continuous improvement of network, command, control, communications and intelligence to enable mission command across the tactical network.
MG Rey is a native of St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands; he enlisted in the Army in September 1983. After completing Basic Training at Fort Dix, NJ, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, GA, he was assigned to Korea as a combat signaleer. As he progressed through the enlisted ranks over the next 9 years, he served in various positions of leadership in several Special Operations Units at Fort Bragg, NC, and the Ranger Regiment at Fort Benning, GA.
In 1994 MG Rey graduated from the Army’s Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Rucker, Alabama, as the Honor Graduate and Leadership Award winner. In 1996 MG Rey received his commission from the Army’s Officer Candidate School and graduated as the Distinguished Honor Graduate. He was commissioned into the U.S. Army Signal Corps. He is a graduate of the Signal Officer Basic Course (1997), the Signal Captains Career Course (2000), and the Naval War College Command and General Staff Course (2007). He has received three Master’s Degrees including Telecommunications Management, National Security Studies from the Naval War College (2007) and Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College (2015).
