Geoff Slagle

Executive Vice President for Digital Identity FaceTec

Mr. Slagle serves as the Executive Vice President for Digital Identity at FaceTec, where he is an educator and evangelist for the benefits of liveness proven 3D face verification technology. In his prior role as President & Chief Business Development Officer for Scytáles, Geoff managed business development, operations, marketing and communication activities and the company’s relationships within the digital identity community. Previously, Geoff worked in cooperation with the North American motor vehicle administrations and other Government issuing authorities on their identity management and identification security efforts. He has over 27 years’ experience within the IDM community including a seven-year stint with a publicly held software developer where he served as a Vice President. Early in his career Geoff worked as a project manager and functional analyst to the U.S. State Department and Department of Defense. He is a past Chairman of the ISO WG10 committee responsible for standards connected to the driver license, Geoff has also held the positions of Chair, Vice Chair, and Project Editor for the U.S. mirror group, B10.8. He was a INCITS Merit Award winner in 2021. Biometrics-related activities in the past have included DMV working groups dedicated to facial identification, standardization for finger imaging, liaison to other communities of interest – to include FISWG, Biometric Consortium, and standards groups M1/SC37.
