Christopher 'Chris' Hernandez is a seasoned systems engineer and program manager with over 20 years of experience leading global teams responsible for delivering critical physical protection technology to Federal Agencies including the US Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, US Secret Service, and National Geospatial Agency. Chris currently serves in two key roles: as the Chief Engineer of the Naval Information Warfare Systems Center Atlantic's Force Protection Solutions Division, and as the Chief Engineer for the Commander Navy Installations Command's Public Safety Systems Program.

As Chief Engineer, Chris provides technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams and ensures the effective integration of critical physical security and public safety systems including Biometric-Enabled Vehicle Gates, Electronic Harbor and Airfield Security Systems, Physical Security Information Management Systems, Computer Aided Dispatch, Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance, and NG 9-1-1 systems.

Chris obtained his MBA at the University of South Carolina, and undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology and Exercise Science from Purdue University. He holds several professional certifications, including: Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Physical Security Professional (PSP)
