General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is the world’s leading manufacturer of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) systems, radars, and electro-optic and related mission systems solutions. The company is dedicated to providing long-endurance, mission-capable aircraft with the in¬tegrated sensor and data link systems required to deliver persistent situational awareness.

The company has delivered more than 1,000 aircraft in its 30+ year history. GA-ASI’s Predator series of RPA includes the newest and most advanced MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian, as well as the Predator B/MQ-9A Reaper, Gray Eagle 25M, and Predator C Avenger.

In 2023, GA-ASI added the Government of Canada and the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) to its growing list of MQ-9B customers, joining the United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force and the Belgian Ministry of Defense. The Japan Coast Guard is currently operating the MQ-9B for maritime operations, as well as the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) who selected MQ-9B for its Medium-Altitude, Long-Endurance (MALE) RPAS Trial Operation Project.

Also in 2023, GA-ASI passed a milestone when its Predator series of aircraft surpassed 8 million flight hours.

GA-ASI aircraft support programs with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, NASA, the Italian Air Force, the UK Royal Air Force, the French Air Force, the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, the Spanish Air Force, the Royal Netherlands Air Force, the Indian Navy, the Polish Air Force, JCG, JMSDF, and others, with more customers coming online soon. Missions include protecting ground units on the battlefield, supporting first responders in the wake of natural disasters, and providing critical ISR.

These aircraft systems continue to maintain some of the highest mission-capable rates in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army aircraft inventories. Established in 1992, GA-ASI is leading the industry to new levels of performance, reliability, and operational capability.
