Trent is a retired United States Air Force Brigadier General, he served in enterprise-wide and regional CFO and COO positions. His final Air Force assignment was the Air Force CFO for an $80 billion budget portfolio that funded daily operating expenses, military, and civilian payroll, facilities, infrastructure, and a working capital for a 325,000-person workforce at 79 locations worldwide. He is the President and CEO of T.H. Edwards Consulting LLC; specializing in helping companies at all stages of development, grow, scale and align their business capabilities to Department of Defense strategic priorities and future operational needs. He has successfully helped companies win over $3M in government funded contracts.

He is a Limited Partner with The Veteran Fund, working with founders, partners, investors, and mentors to build a veteran startup ecosystem that supports high-growth technology start-ups that advance America’s national security interests. The 14-member portfolio raised $20M in series A funding and a prominent portfolio company received national attention for establishing a data center on the moon. Other portfolio companies vary between AI manufactured space satellites, underwater drones, and 3D manufactured drones—all being tested and funded by the Department of Defense and the commercial sector.
