Nicholas Mule is currently the Director of the Boeing Additive Manufacturing Intelligence Center. In this capacity, Nicholas develops the modeling, simulation and digital tools required to accelerate adoption and implementation of Additive Manufacturing across the Enterprise. Nicholas has 16 years of Aerospace product development experience and is a recognized leader in additive manufacturing with over 10 years of AM technology development and AM production transition experience in Aerospace. Nicholas holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from UCLA.

Advances in additive manufacturing (AM) and the digital thread construct have positioned AM to become an efficient production process. By harnessing the end to end digital process of AM, the Aerospace industry will be able to manage and control AM data to optimize the AM value chain and enable informed and actionable decisions at the point of use. Advancements in AM qualification methods, supply chain integration and data analytics are required to realize an optimized AM production process.
